In the comfort of your own home or come to my Gawler residence located 45 minutes north of the Adelaide CBD, the spray tan is applied via a special spray tanning system. Adelaide spray Tanning will spray a fine mist of Bronzing solution over your body resulting in an even, streakless, natural looking tan. One application will give the skin a healthy looking glow but if a deeper colour is required a 2nd application can be applied.

When should I get a spray tan?

If you would like to be tanned for a special event we recommend coming in to Adelaide Spray Tanning for your spray tan the day before, or as close to the event as possible (allowing for at least 12 hours before your next shower.)
How often can I get a spray tan?

You can get a spray tan just one time for a special event or you can visit Adelaide Spray Tanning once a week to maintain a year-round glow. It is best to exfoliate any old self tanner from your skin before coming in for a fresh application.
Do I need to scrub before I spray tan?

It doesn't hurt to buff your skin a bit before coming to Adelaide Spray Tanning for a spray tan, but you only need to seriously scrub if you already have old self tanner on your skin.
How should I prepare for my spray tan?

To get the best from your tan exfoliate and moisturize your skin regularly prior to having the Tanning treatment. This will give a smoother surface for the therapist to apply the tan. A much better result will be achieved and the tan will last longer.

Do not wax or shave on the morning of the treatment. If possible, exfoliate the day before. If possible, come with clean skin, no lotions, make-up or deodorant (although you may take this off once you reach the salon, if you prefer.) Bring something a little bit loose and dark to wear after your spray tan. Don't go to the gym and avoid sweating immediately after being sprayed. Avoid the rain, bring an umbrella with you just in case!
What should I wear for my spray tanning session?

That depends on if you want tan lines or not. If you dont want tan lines you should skip undergarments. Adelaide Spray Tanning offers a safe and comfortable tanning environment and operateds with the highest levels of discretion. If you prefer to wear your own undies or swim wear chose something black - although the tinted self tanner washes out of most fabrics it can stain nylon and leather. Also, the clothes you choose to wear home after your spray tan should be loose and dark - a little self tanner can come off on the inside of your clothes right after you are sprayed.
What can I expect when I visit Adelaide Spray Tanning?

The actual spray tan process only takes a After being sprayed you will stand in front of a fan for a few minutes. You may notice that you feel a tiny bit sticky. The reason for this is that the self tanner is in an aloe vera gel. This very moisturized feeling goes away after about an hour. The spray tan is based in an aloe gel to prevent your tan from bfew minutes. The tinted spray tan feels like a cool mist, most people are pleasantly surprised that there is absolutely no smell. As the spray tan goes on you will immediately see color appear on your skin. This is the 'color guide' and allows the technician to see where the spray tan is going. This initial color is attractive, and gets a little darker when you leave and the actual self tanning product starts to work on your skin.

Dont worry if when you get home you notice a little smudge where an item of clothing scuffed your spray tan; when you shower the sheeting action of the water will even out the tan - kind of like the way spots will come off glasses in the dishwasher.
How does the spray tan formula work?

Spray tan, or self tanner (DHA) is not a cosmetic. The active ingredient soaks into the upper layers of your skin and causes the superficial layers of the epidermis to oxidize. It is similar to the reaction that occurs when you cut an apple and it turns brown. The active ingredient (DHA) occurs naturally in sugar beets and has been approved for application to the skin since the 1950s. It is a safe, well tolerated product. Most dermatologists highly recommend self tanning as an easy alternative to the sun's harmful rays.
How long should I wait to shower after my spray tan?

You should wait anywhere from 4 to 12 hours to shower. If it is your first spray tan it is best to wait a full 8 hours. During your shower you will see a tea color rinsing off of your skin. Dont worry, your tan is still intact! This is just the color guide rinsing off and is meant to happen. Before you shower you may look quite dark as you will be seeing the developed self tanner with the color guide on top - after you shower, the tan will look quite natural.

How long will my spray tan last?
Your spray tan will last anywhere from 5 -10 days, depending on:

How much time you spend in the shower or bath

What products you use on your skin, body, and hair

Keeping your skin moistureised

How often you exercise and sweat

Your skin type

Can I choose the shade of my spray tan?

Yes! You can choose anything from a healthy glowing tan to a deep tan; although there is no 'colour chart'. We will help guide you toward a choice that will work well with your own natural skin color. Because the spray tan product works with your skin's natural chemistry, no two people will have the exact same result. Our spray tan product is known for giving a natural, warm color - not orange, yellow or ashy like some other self tanning products on the market.
What if I think my hands and feet look too pale?

We usually prefer to go a little lighter on the hands and feet, elbows and knees. These areas look better with a lighter touch as the skin absorbs self tanner differently than the rest of your body. In our experience, if your spray tan has been applied properly - your friends will simply notice that you look great! However, if too much self tanner settles in your knuckles and between the fingers it can look glaringly fake. For this reason Adelaide Spray Tanning prefer to spray your hands and feet a little lighter than the rest of your body. With this in mind, we ask that you respect our technicians' years of spray tanning experience and allow them to handle the spraying of your hands and feet gently.
My spray tan is starting to fade, how do I get it off?

Contrary to popular belief you can't just scrub off the spray tan. If you don't believe us - give it a try! The spray tan is attached to the upper layers of your skin and gently fades as your skin exfoliates. If you go into the shower with a grainy scrub you will have very little success removing the tan. The thing to do is to take a long soak in a tub (saunas and Jacuzzis are also great) the idea is to soften the skin and get it steamy. Then is the time to work with a scrub, wash cloth, loofah or scrubbing mitts. Once your skin is soft from soaking in the tub, create a gentle lather with the body wash and let it sit on the skin while you gently scrub each body part. When you get out of the tub with skin warm and steamy, take a rough towel and buff the body - this will remove almost all of the spray tan. Then, just hop under the shower to rinse off.
Is spray tanning safe?

Our tanning solution has the active ingredient DHA (dihydroxyacetone). DHA has been approved for cosmetic use by the FDA, the Canadian Health Ministry, and the EU nations. It is considered non toxic and non carcinogenic. Because DHA does not use the skin's melanocytes to make the skin tan it is recommended as a cosmetic remedy for improving the appearance of vitiligo. DHA-based sunless tanning has been recommended by the Skin Cancer Organization, American Academy of Dermatologists, Canadian Dermatology Association, The AmErican Cancer Society and the American Medical Society.

What Are Spider Veins?

Spider veins are small, thin capillaries that lie close to the surface of the skin. They are connected to a larger venous system, though they are not an essential part of it since they do not actually carry blood to the heart. While spider veins and flushed skin don't usually indicate
a major medical problem, most people would be happy to be rid of them. Unfortunately, spider veins won't disappear on their own, but advanced treatment is available to easily and safely remove them.

How Do Spider Veins Form?

Spider veins form when excess blood backs up in the blood stream. The excess blood creates pressure. The body releases the pressure by creating new veins on the skin's surface. The primary problem with spider veins is their unsightly appearance, but they can also cause aching, swelling, burning.

People within certain ethic groups are often more prone to spider veins, so heredity certainly plays a role. So can hormone therapy and oral contraceptives. Ageing related to sun damage
is also a big contributor. Ultraviolet light exposure is one of the more controllable factors in preventing facial veins, so avoiding the sun and using sunscreen is recommended. Facial veins and flushed skin are also commonly seen with rosacea, a chronic but treatable skin condition.

What Treatments Are Available?
Intense Pulsed Light Therapy: Also known as IPL or Photo Facial, this treatment offers
superior results when treating a whole network of tiny facial veins and the associated flushed look of the skin. There is usually no downtime with this procedure, and it typically requires
4 to 6 treatments. People with mild to severe rosacea really appreciate the outcome, noting an 80 to 90% overall reduction in facial redness.

How Long Do Results Last?
Once a vein or vessel has been destroyed, it will not return. However the treatment is not able
to stop the development of more veins in the future. Patients who have had laser or IPL could certainly see new facial veins over time, especially those who continue on with unprotected

What Causes Wrinkles?

Wrinkles are caused by the loss of collagen beneath the skin surface. Collagen is a basic building block of the skin and provides the foundation that supports your skin's structure. Overall, exposure to ultraviolet (referred to as UVA or UVB) radiation from sunlight accounts for about 90% of the symptoms of premature skin aging, and most of these effects occur by age 20. Collagen is also damaged by other factors, including: the natural aging process, cigarette smoking, and air pollution.

How does the treatment work?

The light is attracted to the red capillary and also to the excess melanin in the sun damaged skin, this light is absorbed creating heat which destroys the capillary or breaks up the excess pigment. The body then absorbs the debris much in the same way it gets rid of a bruise. The light also stimulates the production of collagen in the area.

Is the treatment permanent?

With foto facial/ rejuvenation treatment you will normally achieve a good long-term improvement in your condition. Unfortunately because most of the conditions treated with foto facial/rejuvenation are directly affected by the natural ageing process we cannot stop the ageing process so occasional top ups are usually required approximately every 6-18 months depending on the individual.

How many treatments are necessary?

This will vary from person to person depending on the severity of the condition but generally you will need a course of 3-5 treatments, with occasional top ups after that as described above.

What areas can be treated?

We can treat the face, neck, chest or all three sites together. We can also treat just individual areas of the face, for example, the nose and cheeks. We can also use this treatment to treat some spider veins on the legs.

Can all skin types be treated?

Because the light beam is absorbed well by melanin skin pigment, it is not usually possible to treat dark skinned people as they have a high risk of skin pigment change.

Are there any after effects following the treatment?

There is very little in the way of after effects following the treatment most people can return to work straight after treatment, although some people may have mild to moderate redness following the treatment and occasionally some people may gets some bruising. Redness will usually go in 1-2 hours but bruising may take 5-14 days to recover.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes. There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that the treatment can leas to skin disorders or an increased risk of skin cancer. Furthermore, every precaution has been taken to ensure the safety of the patient.

The treatment is suitable for both men and women. Women can say goodbye regular waxing and shaving, and for men a hairy back or chest can be a thing of the past.

How does IPL work?

Suitable for men and women, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) works by selectively damaging actively growing hair follicles and causing their death.

After some repeat sessions, almost all of the hair will be permanently removed. IPL is the next step on from laser and electrolysis, is more comfortable, and you will need fewer treatments.

How does IPL feel?

After cleansing and preparing the skin the IPL is applied. Most people feel a little warmth in the area, while some feel a slight 'nip' sensation. The overall feeling is so light that the IPL may be used on any part of the body.

The skin may appear slightly red after treatment but this disappears almost immediately.

Unlike electrolysis, IPL is a non invasive treatment.

How many treatments are needed?

Hair grows in cycles. Only hair in its ‘growth‘phase can be treated. The rest are dormant or 'resting'. IPL treatment destroys only actively growing hairs, so you will need to return for a number of repeat sessions in order to destroy all of the hair.

Typically this is between 7 – 10 n depending on the body area and the growth rate of the hair.

How fast is the treatment?

Large numbers of hairs can be destroyed at a time. So the upper lip may take only a few minutes to cover, while two full legs may take up to an hour and a half. Time also needs to be spent preparing your skin prior to the light therapy and properly tending to it after the session.

What can I expect to see after a session?

The 'best' results appear after the second session because at this stage we've managed to catch a lot of the hair in it's growth phase. Also, because the hair doesn't immediately fall out after each session - it can take between five days and three weeks depending on the hair. Three to four weeks break between sessions to maximize the new hair growth is recommended.

How does laser/IPL hair removal work?
Regardless of the laser/IPL used, a short burst of light is fired at skin' s surface. This light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair shaft, where it heats and destroys the hair whilst sparing surrounding tissues.

If the hair is in the growth stage (anagen), the heat is transmitted down the hair shaft to the base of the follicle and to the germ cells lining the follicle shaft, causing their destruction.

Hair caught in the growth stage will not tend to grow again. Other follicles, which are not actively growing may then produce new hair. These follicles will need to be targeted in the growth stage to effect follicle damage.

How many treatments are required?
Everyone is different and it is just not possible to be accurate. Somewhere between 7 and 10 treatments are usually required. The exact number will vary depending on where the hair is, what has been done to the hair in the past and, of course, your individual response.

Can all hair colours be treated?
Laser/IPL depilation works best on dark hair, because dark hair contains more pigment to absorb light. Fair hair can respond well but white hair, very blond hair and some types of red hair will not respond to a laser/IPL system and will need to be treated hair-by-hair using an electrolysis technique.

Can all parts of the body be treated?
Yes - including the chin, upper lip, cheeks, legs, arms, underarms and back - as well as sensitive areas like the ears, nose, chest and bikini line.

Is laser/IPL hair removal permanent?
Results vary; actively growing hair follicles will be destroyed. Our lasers/IPL produce permanent hair reduction although we prefer to call it long lasting. As with all depilation methods, we cannot give any guarantee as the laser/IPL will only affect actively growing follicles and has no effect on dormant or ‘resting' hair follicles. Therefore, it is always possible that new hair growth may take place from hair follicles not currently growing. It is also accepted now that some hairs are not destroyed but convert from a terminal (thick dark, noticeable) hair to a vellus (fine, blonde unnoticeable) hair.

How does laser/IPL hair removal compare with other hair removal methods?
Shaving, waxing and depilatory creams are all temporary methods that must be repeated on a regular basis.

Electrolysis is a valuable method for treating white, grey and red hairs [and we do offer this service] but it is very slow and suffers from the same drawbacks as laser/IPL method – only those hairs that are actively growing will be destroyed – the others will grow back.

Light based hair removal is the only significant improvement in hair removal in the last 20 years.

Is the treatment safe?
Yes. Lasers/IPL have been used in medicine for over 30 years and there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that the treatment can lead to skin disorders or an increased risk of skin cancer. Extensive clinical trials for laser/IPL depilation have resulted in a very safe technique with a minimal risk of side effects.

Should anyone avoid this treatment?
The treatment should be avoided by anyone who is (i) hypersensitive to light; (ii) suffering from live cold sores in the treatment area; (iii) suffering from vitiligo. (skin pigment loss); (iv) pregnant.

How do I prepare myself for IPL treatment with Adelaide Mobile Spray Tanning?
The laser/IPL targets the pigment in the hair and skin and thus it is important that you do not have a suntan - whether natural or artificial. If you have a tan you should wait at least 2 weeks after your last UV exposure until there is no activity in the pigment producing cells. If you are plucking, waxing or threading, you should stop 2 weeks prior to treatment and change to shaving or cutting the hair. The treatment area needs to be shaved the day before treatment. You should avoid perfumes, deodorants or any potential irritants in the treatment area before and after treatment. You should avoid alcohol, aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatorys for 48 hours before treatment; this will reduce the risk of a skin reaction.

Laser hair removal - the risks

Laser hair removal works best, and has fewest risks, on pale skin.
Let any sun tan fade before you consider treatment.
The skin can be left with dark marks or pale patches, which should fade over several months.
Laser hair removal does not always work well on red hair or grey hair because laser energy is absorbed by pigment and there is little or no pigment in these hair colours.
People with very dark complexions, run the risk of too much energy being absorbed and damaging the skin.
You should also avoid laser hair removal treatment if you are particularly sensitive to light or have any infection around the place to be treated.
You should not have laser hair removal treatment if you have been treated for acne with Isotretinoin in the previous year.

Does it hurt and what could go wrong?

Problems after Laser or Intense Pulsed Light, IPL treatment for hair removal vary according to your skin type, but here are some of the potential complications.

Immediately after the procedure, you may notice some swelling, and the skin may become pink or red and a little sore.

Patients have described it as feeling like mild sunburn, but this is a reaction that usually disappears within a day or so.

Skin pigment may be darkened by bright light. It has the same effect as a light suntan, but because it is only visible at the points at which the laser has landed on your skin, it can look quite peculiar! If it occurs at all, (which is quite rare) it will gradually fade but may take many months to do so.

If the skin pigment absorbs too much laser energy, the pigment can be damaged leaving pale patches on the skin. Again these usually slowly recover.

The same process can cause the skin to overheat, resulting in blistering and possibly scarring. These effects are unlikely on pale skin, but care must be taken with darker skin.

Individuals vary in their sensitivity to light treatment so your practitioner should test a patch of your skin before going ahead.

Recently tanned skin can be more vulnerable to the side effects or risks described above, and for many types of machine used, clinics will advise you to be as pale as possible before considering hair removal using light treatment.

Treatment process

After the consultation, depending on the treatment that you are having done the basic procedure will be the same with skin rejuvenation. The area to be treated will be prepared.

Before and after treatments

It is advised to stay out of the sun, spray tan and tanning beds for a few weeks before hand, this is just to ensure that your skin is close to your natural colour. We can still do the treatment we just have to a little less strong.

After the treatment you may be a bit more sensitive to products and the sun for a few days only. It is advised to wear sun block if you are going in the sun.

When will I notice results?

Depending on which treatment you are having done the results will be different. With hair removal you will notice a result after the 2nd and 3rd treatment. You will need to have around 7 - 10 treatments for full results, but everyone is different so it may be one more or less.

How does hair removal work with pulsed light?

Visable and near infrared light can penetrate deep into the skin and is most effectively absorbed by melanin that is found in the hair matrix, hair shaft and epidermis. A light pulse penetrates into the skin, is absorbed by the hair matrix and the hair shaft and heats them up. It kills the hair that is in the Anagen stage. The resulting thermal injury induces the hair follicle to prematurely enter the catagen phase and subsequently the telogen phase and fall out.

There are 3 different phases of hair growth

Anagen Phase: In anagen phase hair is growing from the bulb with an abundance of melanin which is what the light from the ipl machine is attracted to. At any given time the majority of our body hair is in this phase. When having a vpl treatment it will only kill the hair that is in the anagen phase.

Catagen Phase: After the hair follicle has grown for a period of time, it enters into the catagen phase. This phase lasts about 2 weeks, during which the hair stops growing but is not yet shed. 3-4% of our body hair is in this phase.

Telogen Phase: This is the resting phase which last 5 to 6 weeks, at the end of which the hair falls out and a new hair begins to form. 10- 13% of our body hair is in the phase at any one time.

In order for the procedure to work at all there must be some pigmentation in the hair so the energy can be absorbed. For this reason it is more difficult to obtain good clearance in grey and white hairs, although satisfactory results can be obtained for red and naturally blonde hair in many cases if any pigment is present.

What can I treat?

The Ultra VPL system can treat all hair types from all over the body, provided there is pigment (colour) present. Fair hair can be effectively treated; however, the number of treatments may be greater. Grey hair cannot be effectively treated.

Pre Post treatment

The following information is a guideline that will help ensure that the treatment is a success and that the chances of any unwanted side-effects are minimized.

1.	The area treated can be red and warm for a few hours after treatment. If this is uncomfortable you can cool the area with a cold flannel/towel or some other means of cooling. It is advisable to avoid ice as this may cause an “ice burn”.
2.	Soothing preparations/gels can be also be applied such as Aloe Vera witch-hazel or Tea Tree oil. These help soothe the area but also have antiseptic properties.
3.	If you can refrain from the use of make-up that day this will also give the chance for the skin to cool naturally.
4.	Leave the hairs in the follicles for at least 4 days after the treatment. This will help reduce any chances of an opportunistic infection in the damaged follicle. The hairs will drop out naturally over the following 5 -14 days.
5.	Try to use cleansing products that have been developed for sensitive skin for 2 days after treatment. Be gentle when drying or rubbing the area treated.
6.	Avoid tanning beds or sunbathing for at least 7 days after the treatment.

Our specially formulated UV Free treatment features a tan using a spray application in only 15 minutes. Perfect for a busy schedule or a lunch hour treat.

In the comfort of your own home or come to my Gawler residence located 45 minutes north of the Adelaide CBD, the spray tan is applied via a special spray tanning system. I will spray a fine mist of Bronzing solution over your body resulting in an even, streakless, natural looking tan. One application will give the skin a healthy looking glow but if a deeper colour is required a 2nd application can be applied.

When should I get a spray tan?

If you would like to be tan for a special event we recommend coming in to Brazil Bronze for your spray tan the day before, or as close to the event as possible (allowing for at least 12 hours before your next shower.)
How often can I get a spray tan?

You can get a spray tan just one time for a special event or you can visit us once a week to maintain a year-round glow. It is best to exfoliate any old self tanner from your skin before coming in for a fresh application.
Do I need to scrub before I spray tan?

It doesn't hurt to buff your skin a bit before coming to the salon for a spray tan, but you only need to seriously scrub if you already have old self tanner on your skin.
How should I prepare for my spray tan?
To get the best from your tan exfoliate and moisturize your skin regularly prior to having the Tanning treatment. This will give a smoother surface for the therapist to apply the tan. A much better result will be achieved and the tan will last longer.

Do not wax or shave on the morning of the treatment. If possible, exfoliate the day before. If possible, come with clean skin, no lotions, make-up or deodorant (although you may take this off once you reach the salon, if you prefer.) Bring something a little bit loose and dark to wear after your spray tan. Don't go to the gym and avoid sweating immediately after being sprayed. Avoid the rain, bring an umbrella with you just in case!

We can spray tan over your make-up if you are going somewhere right after your spray - it actually looks really nice.
What should I wear for my spray tanning session?

That depends on if you want tan lines or not. If you dont want tan lines you should skip undergarments. If you prefer to wear your own undies or swim wear chose something black - although the tinted self tanner washes out of most fabrics it can stain nylon and leather. Also, the clothes you choose to wear home after your spray tan should be loose and dark - a little self tanner can come off on the inside of your clothes right after you are sprayed.
What can I expect when I visit Brazil Bronze Glow Bar?

The actual spray tan process only takes a few minutes. The technician will show you step by step all the different positions to stand in as your body is coated in a glorious new bronze. The tinted spray tan feels like a cool mist, most people are pleasantly surprised that there is absolutely no smell. As the spray tan goes on you will immediately see color appear on your skin. This is the 'color guide' and allows the technician to see where the spray tan is going. This initial color is attractive, and gets a little darker when you leave and the actual self tanning product starts to work on your skin.

After being sprayed you will stand in front of a fan for a few minutes. You may notice that you feel a tiny bit sticky. The reason for this is that the self tanner is in an aloe vera gel. This very moisturized feeling goes away after about an hour. The spray tan is based in an aloe gel to prevent your tan from being removed when you put your clothes on - it allows the tan to slide a little bit on your skin. Dont worry if when you get home you notice a little smudge where an item of clothing scuffed your spray tan; when you shower the sheeting action of the water will even out the tan - kind of like the way spots will come off glasses in the dishwasher.
How does the spray tan formula work?

Spray tan, or self tanner (DHA) is not a cosmetic. The active ingredient soaks into the upper layers of your skin and causes the superficial layers of the epidermis to oxidize. It is similar to the reaction that occurs when you cut an apple and it turns brown. The active ingredient (DHA) occurs naturally in sugar beets and has been approved for application to the skin since the 1950s. It is a safe, well tolerated product. Most dermatologists highly recommend self tanning as an easy alternative to the sun's harmful rays.
How long should I wait to shower after my spray tan?

You should wait anywhere from 4 to 12 hours to shower. If it is your first spray tan it is best to wait a full 8 hours. During your shower you will see a tea color rinsing off of your skin. Dont worry, your tan is still intact! This is just the color guide rinsing off and is meant to happen. Before you shower you may look quite dark as you will be seeing the developed self tanner with the color guide on top - after you shower, the tan will look quite natural.
How long will my spray tan last?

Your spray tan will last anywhere from 5 -10, depending on:

Can I choose the shade of my spray tan?

Yes! You can choose anything from a healthy glowing tan to a deep tan; although there is no 'color chart'. We will help guide you toward a choice that will work well with your own natural skin color. Because the spray tan product works with your skin's natural chemistry, no two people will have the exact same result. Our spray tan product is known for giving a natural, warm color - not orange, yellow or ashy like some other self tanning products on the market.
What if I think my hands and feet look too pale?

We usually prefer to go a little lighter on the hands and feet, elbows and knees. These areas look better with a lighter touch as the skin absorbs self tanner differently than the rest of your body. In our experience, if your spray tan has been applied properly - your friends will simply notice that you look great! However, if too much self tanner settles in your knuckles and between the fingers it can look glaringly fake. For this reason our technicians prefer to spray your hands and feet a little lighter than the rest of your body. With this in mind, we ask that you respect our technicians' years of spray tanning experience and allow them to handle the spraying of your hands and feet gently.
My spray tan is starting to fade, how do I get it off?

Contrary to popular belief you can't just scrub off the spray tan. If you don't believe us - give it a try! The spray tan is attached to the upper layers of your skin and gently fades as your skin exfoliates. If you go into the shower with a grainy scrub you will have very little success removing the tan. The thing to do is to take a long soak in a tub (saunas and Jacuzzis are also great) the idea is to soften the skin and get it steamy. Then is the time to work with a scrub, wash cloth, loofah or scrubbing mitts. Once your skin is soft from soaking in the tub, create a gentle lather with the body wash and let it sit on the skin while you gently scrub each body part. When you get out of the tub with skin warm and steamy, take a rough towel and buff the body - this will remove almost all of the spray tan. Then, just hop under the shower to rinse off.
Is spray tanning safe?

Our tanning solution has the active ingredient DHA (dihydroxyacetone). DHA has been approved for cosmetic use by the FDA, the Canadian Health Ministry, and the EU nations. It is considered non toxic and non carcinogenic. Because DHA does not use the skin's melanocytes to make the skin tan it is recommended as a cosmetic remedy for improving the appearance of vitiligo. DHA-based sunless tanning has been recommended by the Skin Cancer Organization, American Academy of Dermatologists, Canadian Dermatology Association, The AmErican Cancer Society and the American Medical Society.
